So this week I have been making pictures out of paper and animating them. Part Photography as the paper all needed to be digitally captured, and part illustration.

6th Annual Photography Masters Cup.

Recently found out that I had my Rhino image shortlisted for the 6th Annual Photography Masters Cup. A pleasure to be up there with some of the best in the business!

Still to moving...

I made this image a while back as a fun play on the 'Nissan Leaf' car. At the moment I am experimenting more and more with moving image... I love that the way I produce images means that I can animate them, could have some great commercial applications!

Which? Russian Dolls.

I was recently commissioned by the wonderful Which? Magazine To create one of my Photographic Illustrations for an article on 'Who Owns Who?' in banking. The brief was to create a series of Russian dolls, with the appearance of Financial workers, all to be holding cards...

This is my original shot to use as a base for the image...

New Folio

Just finished putting together my new iPad folio and it looks great! The retina screen really makes the images POP off the screen... the app is called FolioBook and its really good, fully customizable with both image and video...

I went to Cape Verde just before Christmas, lovely place. I shot this starry seascape...

I also shot this of the Milky-Way... You can just see the Andromeda Galaxy in the top left and Betelgeuse shining brightly to the right.

The Universe Versus Alex Woods.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with publishing house Hodder & Stoughton on the front and back covers for their upcoming release 'The Universe Versus Alex Woods'. It comes out in January and can be pre-ordered from Amazon, cant wait to read it as it sounds amazing!

The brief was to create an exaggerated representation of 'Glastonbury Tor', which features in the book.

Flower Test.

Been experimenting with multiple exposures of flowers in the studio today. This one is pretty much straight from the camera... just some slight colour correction...

Brain Time.

This was a submission for 125 Magazine, for their 'Time' issue. Unfortunately it wasn't successful but I really like it, so 'ere you go...
There are 2 parts, a still image and a moving image, with the main idea being that 'Time' is a construct of the human brain.

The Standard Model.

The recent announcement of what is probably the discovery of the elusive Higgs Boson inspired me to create this series, based on the Standard Model of Particle Physics.
This is my imagining of what sub-atomic particles might look like, each one is represented by a photo... but of what!?

Nature Magazine.

I recently had the pleasure of working with the brilliant Nature Magazine. The brief was to create images to illustrate their 'Summer Books' article... Really pleased with how this turned out, the books used included 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, as a nod to the Scientific community!
